Supported devices and imports

Check the transfer path—not just the recorder name. Kept distinguishes an official account API, a manual export, unverified compatibility, and unsupported hardware pairing.

Fieldy

Capture path: Capture remains on Fieldy hardware and in the Fieldy app.
What transfers: Kept imports available conversation and transcript text, source IDs and timestamps, summaries, tasks, speaker profiles, keywords, and other supported metadata returned by Fieldy's official API.
Original audio: Original Fieldy audio is not imported. Fieldy states raw audio is deleted after transcription; Kept marks these records transcript-only and does not offer Play Source.
Import path: Connect in Kept Integrations with a Fieldy API key and choose a 30-, 90-, or 365-day backfill. Kept continues incremental sync. Supported text, PDF, JSON, or Markdown exports can also be imported (8 MB maximum). No Bluetooth pairing.
Limits: Only fields provided by Fieldy's API and mapped by Kept transfer. Manual PDFs need extractable text; source audio cannot be reconstructed when Fieldy no longer provides it.

How to verify an import

Use the provider's current official documentation, import a small sample, and confirm dates, IDs, transcript text, source attribution, and audio availability. Kept cannot restore source material the provider does not make available.
